And now to business!

So, you're wondering, what delights are in store for us this Sunday at Mercy&Pearl Presents gorgeous Spring market?...... Well, only two floors of absolute wonder we say!!!

Oh yes! We've got vintage, retro, amazing craft, printmaking, cards, textiles, homewares, decorative art, tasty treats to take home, a milliner, silk screen artist, fashion, accessories, jewellery, children's soft toys and room accessories, kid's activities, face painting, balloon craft, tile painting, and kid's silk screen painting.  Not to mention you can make your own cake stand!

So, let's help you get your bearings..... It's the ArtsDepot, but not as you know it.... The main hall is your resting spot, coffee, tables, chat and live music, all courtesy of the ArtsDepot (thank you!).

The 3rd floor you'll come up the stairs into our vintage section, The Knitknacks (you need to know this one, it's the cakestand workshop stall), Old Flame (stunning candles in vintage chinaware) and to compliment these two, Petit Gateau and her incredible edibles.

Opposite, we have Terese Errikson, Lauren Robinson, and Natalie Reed. Savour their home vintage home accessories and textiles.

Now for a bit of craft and print work! Lauren Hillhouse Photography, Knitaboo and her stunning knitted children's ware, Alice Tams and her clever and ironic 'birds in hats' illustrations, Gemma Cutts and her smelly cows and regal crow prints, Tata and Friends and her oh so colourful soft toys, and Ella Johnston's illustrations of those characters you love to see in the wild.

Down the bar end we're moving into the home, which of course means kids activities too! The ladies from Fired Treasures are delighting us with their glass work, face painting and tile decorating. Love Isis will adorn our children's walls with gorgeous prints that both decorate and educate. Naming Marvellous will lovingly personalise their artistic wares with your children's names. A Room in My House covers all the rooms in your home, so don't be fooled by their name. Your very own Mercy&Pearl Represents stall has home deco to die for!  Cards to delight can be found on Fiona MacSherry and Natasha Downey's stalls, and June Faulkner's silk screen work and kid's activities complete this section.

The 4th floor is all about glitz and glamour, fashion darling is for grownups and little people! Portobello Parties grace our market for a third time with their stunning women's fashion and jewellery. Tea Nees have lots of lovely things for little people, and Eglute Designs is bringing her funky tees and cardis, and lastly but not least our youngest sellers, Ella and Ellie and their hand made hair accessories....speaking of hair accessories, we have a milliner in the house, Lydia Wall, who not only brings hats, but turns her craft to balloon modelling, and will wow your little ones with clever creations. Adorn your body with some sparkle courtesy of Stella&Dot, Mahliqa, Nikki Bettis, and Melsafunkydiva.

My goodness, you'll be shattered after this, take a load off, watch a show! The ArtsDepot are running two shows, one at midday and one at 3pm, see box office for further info.

See you Sunday. xxx

7 days and counting....

Well, first of all we have to apologise for not posting info on all our gorgeous sellers. We have been so delightfully overwhelmed with requests for stalls we've expanded the market into the 4th floor of the artsdepot, as well as the 3rd floor bar area, how exciting!

So, we wanted to get all our sellers sorted before we started posting info...... so, watch this space, and we'll share our posts here on facebook which will instantly tweet so everyone is in the know!

Register your interest in booking a slot for the cakestand workshop as early as you can this week so that you can express the era of plates you'd like to work with, and Monica has time to source them for you. Can't wait to see what's produced! x

workshop your very own bespoke cake stand...

So, this is rather exciting! We love Monica of The Knitknacks cake stand work shop.

I have a little thing for 30s and 40s china ware and after an evening of fun, some drilling of china, I am now the proud owner of my very own home made interwar inspired 3 tier cake stand.

So, how do you get yourself on the list for this chance to become your own designer maker?

Well, email us at mercyandpearl@gmail.com and request your spot, and we'll give you payment information for the £30 fee (inclusive of materials).

If you book between now and Friday  23rd March, Monica is running an offer of making this 3 tier stand for the normal price of her 2 tier stand, £28.  Go on, grab yourself a discount!

At the market, you can find Monica's stall and choose your plates, and then book a 15min slot with her to make your piece of homewares artwork!

Monica is keen to source the right plates, so once payment has been received we'll put you in touch with Monica to talk about styles and colours you like.
Ooh, it's such fun, honestly, you'll be very proud of yourself! xx

Make time for tea!

If you can't wait for our next market on 1st April and feel in need of a crafty encounter, then we're pleased to tell you about our friends at the Vintage Tea party and Gift Fair.

They are holding an extra special market on Saturday 3rd March at the Boogaloo on Archway Road which will be supporting The Eve Appeal "make time for tea" campaign. This raises awareness of ovarian cancer and they'll be raising money through selling their delicious cakes, stall holder donations and collection boxes. Please come along and lend them your support.

April's flyer....

We've been busy at mercy&pearl towers enlisting some great sellers for our next market on 1st April. We've got a spring in our step which is just as well because we'll be busy leafleting soon. Our flyers are on their way to the printers as we write but here's a preview just for you....
